Dear Santa

Dear Santa,

Most of the items on my Christmas wishlist this year involve fabric. It is very hard to narrow it down to a few items, but I know even Santa has limits. This year, I would really love to receive an Eva Layer Cake. Layer cakes are very handy for those quick quilting projects, and after all the sewing I did for Christmas presents this year, that's what I need. I love this line, the fabric is very soft and the colors are gorgeous.

Maya Loves Quilts

Maya, originally uploaded by amandaswain.

This is what Maya does while I sew bindings on quilts. She gets annoyed when I have to rotate the quilt to keep sewing it.

Quilt for Grandma

Finished my grandma's quilt. It looks fantastic in person and is a great size. I didn't take very good pictures of it, but I'm sure she'll really like it.

This pillow slipcover is made from white corduroy and an assortment of cotton fabrics. I'm pretty happy with out it turned out and it was a quick little project.

And a fun giveaway!

This site is super functional. I especially love that you can search by color. It's as close as you can get shopping at a brick and mortar store.

Several Christmas Gifts Down, Too Many More to Go

So I'm attempting to have a crafty Christmas and create something for everyone on my list. So far, I've got two quilts for my sisters and one for my Grandma finished. Well - binding still to be sewn on G-mas. I have to finish the binding on a table runner for my mother in law, do a quilt for my mother, four make up bags for my sisters and sister in laws, table runner for my grandmother in law, fleece blanket for my father and sister's boyfriend.
